FOODJOY (2019)
An utensil set to help parents feed picky eating children.
We started to brainstorm and sketch on ideas to marry the two activities together, to make utensils that incorporate play-feeding to encourage the child to eat and to provide excitement during meal times.
FOODJOY includes a bowl, a cup and a set of fork & spoon.
The bowl comes with seamless attachable character cap that is easy to clip on and detach when needed.
The cup is designed to encourage children to finish their drink, offering a visual surprise at the bottom of the cup as the child drinks away. It is a water feature where the child can play to move around the shapes in the cup
The louvred design of the fork & spoon allows a visual distraction so the child focuses on the graphic aiding the parent to feed the child and catch his attention.
The animal-like character allows play feeding, making meal times fun and unstressful by incorporating their natural activity of feeding their favorite characters.
FOODJOY comes in 3 different characters to allow the child to choose their favorite character.
To always keep up the excitement, the characters have their own exciting adventures.
Where the story is used to foster friendship and teach lessons, encouraging the child to eat along with his friend.
